Biography
Aaniin! I am the daughter of John Lyon, Karey Lyon, and Jerry Good, and the mother of three amazing children. As the Behavioral Science Instructor at the Leech Lake Tribal College, I teach psychology and sociology courses. Prior to joining LLTC, I worked in several organizations, including Boys & Girls Club of the Leech Lake Area, Lutheran Social Services, Minnesota Historical Society, Head Start, and Minnesota Chippewa Tribe.
I was honored to partake in the American Indian Higher Education Consortium’s first-ever cohort of tribal college and university scholars that included completing an Indigenous Research Methodology Graduate Certificate through Sitting Bull College in Standing Rock. I enjoy spending time with her family, singing, and learning.
I am grateful to be here and to be part of our students educational journeys.
