Biography

I am the Director of Advancement & Public Affairs at LLTC. I used to do the Multimedia and Marketing work at LLTC and I still like to dabble in photography when time allows, so you’ll still probably see me around campus with a camera in my hand or going live on one of LLTC’s social media platforms.  I am an enrolled member of the Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe and a descendant of the White Earth Band of Ojibwe.  I currently reside in Bemidji with my two son’s Debwe and Arrow.   I graduated from Minnesota State University Moorhead with a Bachelor of Fine Arts with an emphasis in Graphic Design.  I have a passion for photography, videography, and sharing our traditional activities like harvesting wild rice, sugar camp, hunting, fishing, and more.  Every year in late August or early September, LLTC takes a group of students out on the lake to learn how to harvest wild rice.  If you would like to join in on the experience follow LLTC on Facebook and/or check your student email for the flyers and more information.  We also have wild rice videos from past years saved to the LLTC Facebook page if you would like to check them out.
