Come join us for a creative workshop where you will be able to create a Basket through Black Ash! Monday will have 2 basketmaking workshops and a site visit, and Tuesday will only have the 2 workshop sessions. For the site visit we will meet at LLTC parking lot by 8:30am and go to harvest an ash tree and discuss with a Northern Research Station Forester the introduction of Emerald Ash Borer. The basket making instructor will also talk about selecting a good tree for basket making. Food will be provided at the workshop sessions but dietary restrictions can’t be accommodated [...]

Come join us on Wednesdays 3PM to 5PM to eat together and speak in ojibwemowin! We will come together every Wednesday in the Drum Room throughout the semester, so you’re welcome to stop in for a little while, or stay the whole time. All Anishinaabeg are welcome to come, no matter how much you speak ojibwemowin, and you can bring your kids along too. We ask that everyone tries to speak only in ojibwemowin so that we keep this an immersion event. We hope to see you soon at the language table!

LLTC is officially having a Graduation Blast for our Class of 2024 Thursday May 9th! This event is open to all people that are graduating this year along with their family members! More information will come through student emails.

LLTC Graduation Ceremony Held at Northern Lights Casino in Walker, MN. The ceremony is held from 1pm to 3pm, but students please arrive at 12:30pm that day.
