Black Ash Basket Making Workshop

Come join us for a creative workshop where you will be able to create a Basket through Black Ash! Monday will have 2 basketmaking workshops and a site visit, and Tuesday will only have the 2 workshop sessions. For the site visit we will meet at LLTC parking lot by 8:30am and go to harvest an ash tree and discuss with a Northern Research Station Forester the introduction of Emerald Ash Borer. Community Ojibwemowin Language Table and Feast

Come join us on Wednesdays 3PM to 5PM to eat together and speak in ojibwemowin! We will come together every Wednesday in the Drum Room throughout the semester, so you’re welcome to stop in for a little while, or stay the whole time. All Anishinaabeg are welcome to come, no matter how much you speak ojibwemowin, and you can bring your kids along too. We ask that everyone tries to speak only in ojibwemowin so that we keep this an immersion event. We hope to see you soon at the language table!
