Course Description

This course is an exploration of police ethical concerns, perceptions, and the history and effects of police deviance and corruption. Police abuse of authority, the code of silence, and police brutality will be discussed. Police prejudice and discrimination will be examined. Minnesota P.O.S.T. objectives will be covered in this course. Prerequisite: LE 209.
