Introduction to Forestry – (Spring 2025: Section 1)

This course provides an overview of forest systems around the world, with special emphasis placed on the forests of northern Minnesota. The material presented introduces forest management, traditional and non-timber forest uses and forest ecosystems. Students are expected to participate in field trips to view forest management practices and uses of the forest.
