Summer Online/Hybrid Courses

Step 1 – SOLOS Registration


If  you’re a new online student, you will need to register. After you register, you can just go to the steps you are working on. Questions? Call 218-335-4252

Step 3 – Student Portal


Click on Student Portal (top menu bar).
Login with your JICS login & password.

Go to “Student”, select “Registration”.

Before selecting Add/Drop Courses, you must have the Distance Education SOLOS verification form signed by the Distance Education Coordinator (online & hybrid course).

Select the Semester and Year, write the Course Code of your course.

Step 5 – Attendance

Download the Canvas App on your phone

Online/Hybrid classes require that you login to Canvas once a week (minimum) and work on your assignments.

Student Verification Form

After completing the SOLOS online program, please complete this form and contact/visit the Distance Education Coordinator in the Oak Hall Building 101N, to issue an authorization to the IT Department for your registration in your Online/Hybrid Course(s).

The registration process will take 24 hours to process.
