Program Description
Open your possibilities to being a mentor and to have a vital influence on young children and their families by earning your Associate of Arts degree in Early Childhood Education at Leech Lake Tribal College. By combining our teaching curriculum with foundational core courses, you will be taking steps toward becoming a successful teacher of young children. Our program provides each student with an opportunity to customize their educational background to fit their current needs and to further their education to a four-year degree.
Our Early Childhood Education Indigenous Certificate at Leech Lake Tribal College combines a foundation of principles of child development with Indigenous focused coursework creating a pathway for students to prepare students to provide Anishinaabe culturally informed care that will be beneficial for all children and families.
