Vision:
The vision of the LLTC Office of Institutional Reporting and accreditation is to support the vision, mission, and strategic priorities of the college through the provision of timely, high-quality, and relevant data and to foster and grow a campus culture of evidence-based, data-driven decision-making.
Mission:
To lead assessment and institutional research and effectiveness practices in teaching, learning, and scholarship following gidakobidoomin (“tying it all together”), and to provide timely, consistent, and accurate data to inform the institution’s decision-making process.
Goals:
Effectively support informed decision making and planning at LLTC by providing accurate, consistent, and timely information about students, faculty, administration, and the community.
Effectively support the data needs of LLTC’s educational programs for accreditation, self-study, improvement, and program review by providing relevant and timely program data.
Support the campus strategic planning process by assisting in the development and monitoring of strategic plan indicators to track the College’s progress towards strategic plan goals.
Support LLTC’s Student Services staff in assessing extra-curricular and co-curricular programs.
Help support and maintain the College’s accreditation.
Proactively initiate and conduct relevant institutional effectiveness measures and data collection efforts.
Systematically monitor and assess institutional processes and performance, such as student orientation, advising, registration, enrollment, exit surveys, and alumni surveys.
Effectively disseminate institutional data to the College community in an accessible and understandable way to increase the usability of data analysis results.
Serve as the central repository of institutional data to monitor its continuous quality, improvement, and compliance with local, state, and federal reporting requirements.
Conduct specialized research studies.
Office of IR will serve as the central repository of data and perform the following 4 functions:
Collect data about the environment and performance of the institution.
Analyze and interpret the collected data.
Transform the data analyses and data interpretations into information that can be used to support institutional planning, policy and decision making.
Lead academic and non-academic assessment.
