Leech Lake Tribal College – Student LLTC Debt Forgiveness Project

Announcement by the Leech Lake Tribal College administration:

Any past due LLTC debts or amounts owed by students for unpaid LLTC tuition or other LLTC costs as of December 31, 2021, will be forgiven. The LLTC debt will be canceled on each student’s record but will not be part of any payment made to the student(s) and cannot be received as a cash payment. These canceled LLTC debt amounts are not taxable nor are they to be counted as income in any other government (Federal, State, or local) financial assistance program.

This project is made possible through funding provided to the Leech Lake Tribal College by the U.S. Government COVID emergency relief appropriations.
